Scarlett Johansson and Lupita Newong in the forest voice
John Favreau is the director of the “Forest Book” animation adapted from Rudyard Kipling’s story of the same name! Disney is currently negotiating with Scarlett Johansson (actress Hitchcock and Avengers) for the adaptation work, and Lopita Nyongo (the Oscar-winning actor for 12 years of slavery) to launch the project later.
The two actors are currently in talks with Disney to join Idris Alba (who plays Mandela: Long to Liberty and the Pacific Edge) to form a dream team! Lupita Newongo is negotiating for the role of Rakcha (the wolf that Mowgli accepted as a child), and Idris Alba is also a slave tiger, Shere Khan. Scarlett Johansson is also negotiating for Kaa’s role as Marie, who hunts other animals through hypnosis, and is the second evil animal after Shere Khan (with the voice of Idris Alba). Mowgli has not been selected yet.
The film, which is scheduled for release on October 9, 2014, is scheduled to feature in the script by Justin Marks. John Favreau together with Brigham Taylor are the producers of this work. The Disney version is one of the editions of this story, and Warner Bros.’s company is also producing another version of this animation directed by Andy Sarkis (Gallum in Lord of the Rings).
Scarlett Johansson is currently playing at The Avengers: The Altun Era, and his new film directed by Luc Besson will be released on August 8 this year.
